Overview
Black Pearl takes its name from the mulberry fruit (Sang Shen Zi), those dark, almost black berries gathered when they are gorged with sugar.
Set among complementary plants chosen for the way they agree, it gives a sweet, fruity cup, crossed by a tart edge that makes it lively and easy to drink.
An infusion for pleasure as much as a preparation of tradition, presented in tea bags so that it can be found again in a single gesture.
Traditional uses
A composed infusion with the profile of the and Blood supplementing register, in the spirit of the preparations built on Sang Shen Zi.
Traditionally valued as a gentle companion to the foundations, notably on constitutions marked by moderate dryness — and always with a treat of a flavour.
Preparation and traditional-use quantity
- Infusion for pleasure: 1 tea bag in a large cup, water at a simmer, 5 to 8 minutes covered
- Regular use: 1 tea bag a day for 3 to 4 weeks
- Suited to daily use: a pleasant, fruity flavour
Precautions
To be used in moderation in cases of markedly deficient Yang with deep cold or of already very loose stools.
